Full-Time Accounting Associate – Banking Investments & Subsidiary Accounting
The selected candidate will provide accounting support to Sagicor Property Service Finance team; with the view of meeting the monthly deliverables, at a level that will enhance the effective operation of the department and the achievement of the goals and objective.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare Monthly Bank Charges, Reconciliation and Accruals
Prepare Rental & Parking Income, and Rent Commission:
Prepare statutory deductions and payments
Maintain Filing of the units’ documents.
Prepare and File Withholding Tax on Specified Services
Prepare SPS Schedule showing Income & Expenditure.
Perform other related duties assigned from time to time.
Academic Qualifications/Specialized Skills/Competencies:
Bachelor’s in Accounting or ACCA Level II qualifications, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized tertiary institution
Two (2) years’ working experience in similar position
Sound knowledge in the use of computer software applications including spreadsheets and word processing and file handling software
Good human relations skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
